- Write in the language both families read: English, हिंदी or मराठी.
- Leave out anything you are not comfortable sharing. Every field can be hidden from the biodata.
- Check phone numbers and the spelling of names before you share it.
- Print the PDF, and send the JPG image on WhatsApp so it opens without a PDF reader.
Common questions
What is the right biodata format for marriage?
Name and photo first, then personal details, horoscope details, education and career, family, a few lines about yourself, partner expectations and contact details, all on one A4 page.
Should I include horoscope details?
Include them if your family matches horoscopes; otherwise leave them out or hide them. You can also check 36-gun matching on the Gun Milan page.
Is a photo necessary?
No, but most families expect one. Use a recent, clear photo; you can crop it in the maker before it goes on the biodata.
Can I make the biodata in Marathi or Hindi?
Yes. The maker works in English, Hindi and Marathi, and you can type your details in any language.
